The Male Intellect' is a rare thing
"The Male Intellect: an oxymoron? is that rare thing, a one-man show that is quirky, laughing-out loud-funny, provocative and thoughtful, all at once. There are two kinds of people who should rush to see it; men and women."

Male Intellect' a brainy romp
"Robert Dubac's one-man show 'The Male Intellect (an Oxymoron)' takes its audience on a walk down the well-worn comedy path of male-female relationships, but the talented actor-playwright transforms the stroll into a fresh and hilarious 90-minute frolic."..."Dubac's wit, writing and acting make this show a don't-miss night at the theater."

Dubac's one-man tour de force has 'hit comedy' written all over it
"Robert Dubac has hit the theatrical jackpot in Denver. His one-man tour de force The Male Intellect: An Oxymoron had sold out runs at the Vogue Theatre and Chicken Lips Comedy Theatre, and has now moved into the Denver Performing Arts Complex."..."Dubac takes on a more universal question: What do women want? Sophocles first tackled this question in Antigone, and every major western playwright since has given it a shot. Dubac's beautifully structured, unflaggingly intelligent script contains plenty of echoes from past writers, but none overshadow his own voice, which is original and refreshing."

Male Intellect delights with funny collision of the sexes,
A Fresh, spontaneous take on common complaints
"Robert Dubac is smart and funny. He's figured out how to inflate an extended stand-up comedy routine about the collision between the heterosexes into an enjoyable evening in the theater, where audiences pay attention. His first such evening in Dayton took place Tuesday night at the Loft, Dubac brought a full house of men and women to their feet with his one-man, multiple-character show The Male Intellect: An Oxymoron?"

Caustic yet feeling, and most assuredly, funny
"In case you were wondering, it is possible for a person to be tasteless, sensitive and funny, all at the same time. The proof lies in Robert Dubac, star and author of 'The Male Intellect: An Oxymoron?' the show, wich ran for months and months in Denver, Chicago and Boston, and opened this week in the quaintly ornate (and largely underutilized) little Theatre at Cleveland Music Hall."

The male Intellect (An Oxymoron)
"Robert Dubac's one-man comedy, 'The Male Intellect (An Oxymoron),' speaks to those who think men and women are from different universes--in other words, most people. Dubac's bits sparkle, and his use of narrative and other characters brings vitality to the one-man genre."..."There's much for both sides to laugh at--or with. Women, Dubac says, dance to feel good. Men dance in hopes it will lead to sex so they can feel good. Men go bald, he suggests, because they're always pulling at their hair in frustration over something they said that came out wrong. In other words, the jokes are never derogatory, but with a sense of fun (this reviewer's wife says it's truth)."
