But let's be honest. These were only the good ones. And with that admission the bar is set for his sequel ROBERT DUBAC'S MALE INTELLECT: THE 2ND COMING! Part theater and part stand-up Dubac transforms himself into a cast of characters hell bent on crystallizing life's ironies. He picks up where he left off - inside his head - ransacking his brain trying to figure out what women want. Yes, he figured it out last time but he's a man so he forgot. Somewhere along the line a little chauvinism crept back into his left brain and threw him off Balance. It might have been from THE COLONEL who wears his chauvinism on his chin or the new guy PHILLIP POMEROY who camouflages his with academia. Thankfully his metro-sexual BOBBI offsets all this testosterone and defends the use of coasters without caring where his/her spots of masculinity fall.
Together this new barrel of monkeys remind BOBBY what women want and balance his chauvinistic brain in record time. But once he finds Balance his VOICE OF REASON awakes and recruits him to assemble the Door of Truth. Once erected he opens it and dives head first into the hypocrisies of society in search of the Bigger Picture.
And that's just Act I.
After intermission exposure to the Truth turns BOBBY into ROBERT and he emerges more serious. Oh, he's still funny but now he's seriously funny. And he's on a mission. A mission to separate the truth from illusion. Armed only with Balance and the Door of Truth he unravels Hype and Spin served up by politics, religion and the media in an effort to see the Bigger Picture. And he's not alone.
His UNCLE BOBBY shows up to expose the media for using Pavlov to breed ignorance. PHILLIP POMEROY returns to solve the problem of partisan politics with an idea so absurd it borders on brilliance. And THE COLONEL levies a Stupid Tax on our common sense while ragging on religion for taking the "fun" out of fundamentalism. Basically everyone takes turns at beating the hornets' nest of hype, spin and censorship with the big stick of knowledge. Together this honesty posse wedges the Door of Truth open wide enough so everyone can finally see the Bigger Picture. Because if you could see the bigger picture - well, wouldn't that make you happy?
